 People with ostomies, fistulas, pressure ulcers, skin care issues and incontinence have very special needs. To meet these needs, the enterostomal therapy (E.T.) nurse is trained to give special assistance, support and information to patients and their families. The E.T. nurse is available to provide individualized care and instruction at the bedside after surgery, as needed. After discharge from the Hospital, your physician may order an outpatient visit with the E.T. nurse.To make an appointment with the E.T. nurse, please ask your physician to make a referral.
