For more than sixty years, the Auxiliary has worked to provide modern medical equipment and furnishings for the patients of Salem Community Hospital. This highly successful service organization holds a number of fund-raising activities throughout the year to raise money for their annual donation to the Hospital.
In addition to these events, the Auxiliary oversees the management of the Look Nook Gift Shop, which is located on the second floor atrium. Proceeds from the Shop also benefit the programs and services of Salem Community Hospital.
Auxiliary meetings are held the second Thursday of the month in the Hospital's Private Dining Room. The meetings begin at 9:30 a.m., and include a business session and guest speaker. Each year, members also gather to enjoy a Christmas Breakfast and Spring Luncheon.
